Ingredients

- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best texture.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
